Toronto Caribbean Carnival (Caribana) Festival – August 2007

Black Cap, in Partnership with ACCHO organized the following activities for Caribana.

Yonge St. Outreach – Volunteers will complete evening street outreach and distribute resources including condoms and safer sex packages to community members on Yonge St. between Bloor and Dundas.

Parade Participation - Sixty participants, including volunteers and community agencies, will join us in the parade. Participation will include a float which will follow the Mas Players International Band, the distribution of condoms and safer sex kits, etc.

Outreach at Caribana Village – Volunteers will conduct outreach in Caribana Village in Ontario place over the weekend.
